The summer season is already in full swing in the Tarn! In July, Domaine de la Durantie was a partner of the Les Terres Rouges Festival. We were delighted to offer their fantastic artists, including Bénabar, Louis Bertignac and Jahneration, a well-deserved break in our private villas.
A huge thank you to the entire festival team for their Facebook post describing us as a “slice of paradise”. As they so perfectly put it, Domaine de la Durantie is “100% tried and approved by the artists”!

- 30th Bruniquel Castles Festival (5–9 August)
An impressive open-air performance of Offenbach’s comic opera Orpheus in the Underworld, bringing together more than 50 performers on stage against a spectacular natural backdrop.
- Lautrec Pink Garlic Festival (7–8 August)
A large, traditional and lively market celebrating this iconic local speciality, with garlic soup competitions and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of a true village festival.
- Les Soirées Gourmandes de Lisle-sur-Tarn (7–21 August)
Intimate countryside night markets held in local hamlets (first in Lapeyrière, then La Oustrière), bringing together local producers, food trucks and live music under the stars.
- Castelroc Festival in Castelnau-de-Montmiral (14–16 August)
A major free festival featuring rock and popular music concerts across two stages, wood-fired grills and a traditional giant aligot in the heart of the medieval bastide.
- Occitan Festival of Cordes-sur-Ciel (14–15 August)
An event dedicated to celebrating Occitan culture, filling the steep, picturesque streets of this hilltop town with the sounds of traditional music and dance.
- Les Festiv’halles at Place du Griffoul (Throughout August, until 29 August)
A completely redesigned pedestrian area bringing new life to the market hall district throughout the summer, with a wide range of friendly street entertainment and activities.
